BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Man takes wallet during an argument

Joseph T. Burr, 24, of N. Lyon St., Batavia, is charged with robbery 3rd, two counts of grand larceny 4th and endangering the welfare of a child after he allegedly took a wallet off of someone’s person while involved in an argument.

Burr was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $2,000 cash or bond bail.

He is due back in court today.

 

Danny D. Williams, 29, of Pearl St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief 4th after a domestic incident on Central avenue on June 11, 2018.

Williams was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in City Court tomorrow at 1:30p.m.

Williams was also charged with petit larceny after reportedly stealing items from Tops in Batavia on June 17, 2018. Williams was released on his own recognizance and will appear in City Court on July 31, 2018.

Williams was also arrested on a bench warrant issued by City Court and was released on his own recognizance in that arrest.

 

John D. Radley Jr., 57 of Rt. 20A, Warsaw, is charged with DWI and DWAI/alcohol after an incident in Tops parking lot on June 22, 2018.

Radley Jr. was allegedly consuming alcohol in his parked running vehicle while in the parking lot at Tops.

The incident was observed by employees there who contacted police after observing Radley Jr. slumped over , apparently asleep at the wheel.

He was issued appearance tickets and is due in City Court on July 11, 2018 at 9:00a.m.

 

A 16 year old  male, of Batavia, is charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal possession of stolen property 4th after he was found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle.

The teen was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 10, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

Cherie M. Oddo, 57, of Maple St., Batavia , is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing $7.69 worth of merchandise from Tops Supermarket at 390 West Main street on June 30, 2018.

Oddo was arrested and issued an appearance ticket. She will appear in City Court on July 9, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

Irisa M. Hill, 22, of Wood St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after an investigation into employee theft at a business at 412 East Main street on May 4, 2018.

Hill was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 11, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

Christine M. Wagner, 27, of E. Main St. Rd., Batavia is charged with petit larceny after an employee theft at a business at 412 East Main street on May 5, 2018.

Wagner was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 3, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

John A. Snook  30 of Oak Orchard road, Albion, was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to comply with a court ordered program and was arraigned and remanded to the Genesee County Jail without bail. He will reappear in court on July 5, 2018.

 

 

Joseph W. Freeman, 34, of Platten Rd., Lyndonville, was arrested on a bench warrant and was processed at the City of Batavia  Police Department and then arraigned in City Court on June 27, 2018

He was held in lieu of $1,000 bail.

He returned to court on June 28, 2018

 

 

Joshua P. Fields, 21, of Batavia Bethany Townline road, Batavia, was arrested on an arrest warrant for failure to appear on uniform traffic tickets, aggravated unlicensed 3rd and unsafe backing. Fields was posted bail and was released.

He will return to City Court July 11, 2018 at 9:00a.m.
