The legendary Pok-A-Dot restaurant is grieving the loss of it’s owner this evening.
Philly Pastore passed away today surrounded by family.
Pastore along with co-owner Joe “Trigger” Marone opened the Pok-A-Dot restaurant together 65 years ago in 1953.
Phil and Joe also owned and operated Sunny’s Restaurant from 1977 – 2000.
Joe Marone passed away in October of 2014.
In June of 2013, the Pok-A Dot celebrated 60 years.
