On July 28, 2018, at 2:18 AM, Troopers out of State Police/ Batavia arrested Kelvin B. Murphy, 45, of Batavia, for driving while intoxicated.
Troopers stopped Murphy on Route 98 in the town of Batavia for speeding.
While speaking to Murphy, the operator, Troopers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Murphy was placed under arrest after failing multiple field sobriety tests and was transported to State Police/ Batavia where he provided a breath sample of .10 BAC.
Murphy was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Batavia court for August 2018.
