WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Man accused of killing two pet ducks

Jonathon E. Hennard, 28, of Hinsdale, NY, was arrested following an animal abuse complaint in the Village of Castile on December 10, 2018.

Hennard was alleged to have unjustifiably killed two ducks in which a family owned as pets. Hennard is charged with torturing or injuring animals, a class A misdemeanor.

Hennard was issued an appearance ticket and scheduled to answer the charge in the Town of Castile Court on January 7, 2019.

Mark S. Bradley, 58, of Pavilion, was arrested following a traffic stop on Warsaw Boulevard in the Village of Silver Springs.

Bradley was stopped at 2:27am on December 9, 2018 for a traffic infraction. During the traffic stop, Bradley was found to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia, and an open container of alcohol.

Bradley was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th unlawful possession of marijuana, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and unauthorized stickers on windshield.

Bradley’s vehicle was towed from the scene, and he was processed at the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office. Bradley was released to relatives, issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to answer the charges in the Village of Silver Springs Court on January 7, 2019.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office was requested to Old State and Silver Lake Road for a manure truck that rolled over on December 7, 2018. Once on location, deputies found the driver, Lucas Locklin, 25 of Greece, NY, was traveling south on Old State Road when two cars pulled off of Silver Lake Road. The driver slowed for the cars and then sped up to make the turn through the curve when the truck rolled over.

The truck was carrying approximately 9000 gallons of manure which began spilling towards a nearby waterway. The Wyoming County Hazmat Team was requested to the scene along with the Pavilion Fire Department and Mercy Medic 80. The spill was contained and cleaned up. 

Locklin was treated at the scene and released. The investigation is continuing.
