Coach John Grillo will be retiring as the Kendall-Holley High School Wrestling coach after this year. On Tuesday night the school and community honored Coach Grillo after his 44 years as a wrestling coach, 12 years at Pavilion and 30 years at the Holley School District.
Grillo has more than 780 wins and was Genesee Region Coach of the Year 16 times, Section 5 Coach of the Year 5 times, and has 12 Sectional Titles under his belt. He coached two state champions, was a National Coach of the Year finalist and holds the all time record for most wins in NYS wrestling.
