BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Attica man accused of driving under the influence of marijuana

Alexander D. Kibler, 21, of School St., Attica, is charged with speeding in a zone, DWAI/drugs, possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd after a traffic stop on Walnut street on January 19, 2019 at 1:24a.m.

After an investigation, Kibler was found to be allegedly impaired by marijuana and was issued uniform traffic tickets and will appear in City Court on February 6, 2019 at 9:00a.m.

Juaquin E. Davis, 23, of Bank St., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 1st after allegedly violating a City Court order of protection by being in the presence of a protected party and engaging in a verbal altercation with the protected party.

Davis was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on February 5, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Carlton L. Beardsley, 24, of State St., Batavia, was arrested on a warrant on January 19, 2019 after he failed to appear in court. Beardsley had previously been arrested for shoplifting from Save-A-Lot on December 31, 2018 and issued an appearance ticket.

Beardsley is currently being held in the Genesee County Jail on $500 cash bail and $2,000 bond bail.

Taylor L. Finnin, 26, of East Main St., Batavia, was arrested on multiple City Court warrants after police were called to a residence on South Main street for an unrelated matter.

Finnin was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $1,000 cash or bond bail.
