ORLEANS COUNTY/Albion man facing drug charges

ON FEBRUARY 21, 2019, AFTER AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF FENTANYL AND COCAINE FROM THE CITY OF ROCHESTER TO ORLEANS COUNTY, THE ORLEANS COUNTY MAJOR FELONY CRIME TASK FORCE ALONG WITH THE ALBION POLICE DEPT. ARRESTED AN ALBION MAN, JEFFREY J. FARRELL ON SALE AND POSSESSION CHARGES.

POLICE ARRESTED:

* JEFFREY J. FARRELL, AGE 31, OF SOUTH MAIN ST., ALBION N.Y., WAS CHARGED WITH:

1 COUNT OF CRIMINAL SALE OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IN THE THIRD DEGREE. (CLASS B FELONY).

2 COUNTS OF CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IN THE THIRD DEGREE. (CLASS B FELONIES).

1 COUNT OF CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IN THE SEVENTH DEGREE. (CLASS A MISDEMEANOR).

FARRELL WAS ARRAIGNED IN TOWN OF ALBION JUSTICE COURT BY THE HON. JOSEPH FULLER, HE WAS COMMITTED TO THE ORLEANS COUNTY JAIL $10,000.00 CASH BAIL OR $20,000.00 BOND.

HE IS TO RETURN TO THE TOWN OF ALBION JUSTICE COURT ON FEBRUARY 26, 2019 AT 9:00 A.M.

THE NEW YORK STATE POLICE ALSO ASSISTED WITH THE ARREST.

FURTHER ARRESTS AND CHARGES ARE PENDING IN THIS INVESTIGATION.
