GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Check the welfare call leads to arrest of Rochester man

Christopher B. Wilcox, 25, of El Mar Dr., Rochester, is charged with DWI, DWAI/drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana after a check the welfare call on Rt. 33 in Bergen on June 8, 2019 at 2:07a.m.

Wilcox was the operator and sole occupant of a 2004 Cadillac that was stopped roadside. When deputies were speaking with Wilcox he allegedly exhibited signs of impairment. It is also alleged that during the encounter, criminal indicators were observed, leading to the location and seizure of a quantity of marijuana.

Wilcox was issued appearance tickets and will appear in Bergen Town Court on July 3, 2019 at 5:00p.m.

Jessica N. Weiss, 28, of W. Main St. Rd., Batavia is charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child after a complaint at a local motel in the Town of Batavia on June 5, 2019.

Weiss allegedly left her young children alone in their residence for a period of time.

She was issued an appearance ticket and was transported to the jail for prints and photos. Weiss will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on July 1, 2019 at 1:00p.m
