GENESEE COUNTY/Indictments

A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted Christopher L. Burns and accused him of the crime of DWI as a class E felony, after operating a 2014 fiat on Rt. 5 in the Town of LeRoy while in an intoxicated condition on February 16, 2019.

In count 2, Burns is accused of DWI/Per Se, as a class E felony, after driving his 2014 Fiat on Rt. 5 in LeRoy with a .08% or more BAC.

Burns was previously convicted of DWI as a misdemeanor on September 24, 2012 in Monroe County. The conviction was within 10 years of the current charges.

Shah L. Zajic was indicted by the Grand Jury and is accused of DWI as a class E felony, after operating a 2012 Toyota on Rt. 19 in the Town of LeRoy on December 27, 2018 in an intoxicated condition.

In count 2, Zajic is accused of aggravated DWI/Per Se, as a class E felony, after driving with a BAC of .18% or more.

Zajic was previously convicted of DWI as a misdemeanor on February 14, 2017 in City Court in Batavia. The conviction was within 10 years of the current charges.

Darius L. Jones has been indicted and is accused of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, after knowingly and unlawfully possessing a narcotic drug, cocaine, with intent to sell it on February 22, 2019 in the City of Batavia.

Marquise L. Lee and Derek E. Wilcox have been indicted and accused of the crime of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd after knowingly and unlawfully possessing a narcotic drug, cocaine, with intent to sell it on March 27, 2019 in the City of Batavia.
