PERRY POLICE REPORT/Perry man charged in traffic stop

On June 16, 2019, in the Village of Perry, Officer Harding was patrolling eastbound on Leicester Street when a pickup truck was observed traveling eastbound with an expired registration.

A traffic stop was initiated and Nathan L. Voorhees, 29, of Perry, was identified as the driver of the vehicle. During the investigation, a records check showed Voorhees had a suspended license for failure to answer a summons in the Village of Warsaw.

Voorhees was processed roadside and released on appearance tickets for aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree and unregistered motor vehicle.

Voorhees is scheduled to appear in the Village of Perry Court at a later date.
