MEDINA, August 8–Residents, representatives, and business owners attended the 4th Annual Farm-To-Table Dinner, presented by The Orleans Renaissance Group, an organization dedicated to the preservation of historical sites and the development of new businesses in Medina.

The sold out event was thoughtfully placed near Bents Opera House.

The Opera House has long been on the National Registry of Historic Places, and recently has drawn considerable interest from multiple developers.

Marketing Manager for the project at Bent’s Opera House, Tessa Hartway, gave more detail on the endgame.

“We’re really happy about the events location, it gives everyone a look at what is being accomplished.”

“The first floor will be a farm-to-table restaurant, the second floor is set to be boutique hotel rooms, and the third floor is scheduled for renovation, simply to preserve the buildings history for years to come.”

Contributors to this event included: Zambistro’s, (a fine dining eatery on Main Street with award-winning cuisine,) and Pride Pak, (a local produce wholesale company.)

One proud native visiting his hometown of Medina, Joe Sidari, commented on the events success, “It’s just pretty great this event is cementing itself into local tradition. I think it’s pretty clear Medina is on the upswing these days.”
