A Batavia man allegedly threatened a police officer with a knife after an incident on Central avenue on Saturday morning about 12:49a.m.
Officers Peter Post and Arick Perkins responded to the area of 17 1/2 Central avenue where Morgan Cox, 27, was arrested for menacing a police officer with a knife, criminal possession of a weapon, obstruction of governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Cox was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $15,000 cash and $30,000 bond.
He is scheduled to re-appear in court later today.
