GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia man facing charges after a larceny complaint at Wal-Mart

Thomas J. Leonard, 36, of East Main St., Batavia, is charged with falsifying business records 1st, petit larceny and conspiracy 6th, after a larceny complaint at Wal-Mart on Veteran’s Memorial Drive on December 30, 2019 at 5:00p.m..

After being transported to the jail on the arrest, he was also charged with promoting prison contraband 2nd after allegedly introducing contraband at a detention facility at 14 West Main street, the Genesee County Jail, on December 30, 2019 at 6:10p.m.

Leonard was released on appearance tickets on all of the charges. He will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on January 9, 2020 at 1:00p.m. after the incident at Wal-Mart and will appear in the City of Batavia Court on the contraband charge on January 7, 2020 at 1:00p.m.
