BATAVIA/Democratic candidates for NYS Senate and Congress meet with voters

It was standing room only at Moonjava Café on Harvester avenue on Thursday night, as voters came out to learn more about Democratic candidates running for NYS Senate District 61 and for Congress.

Nate McMurray, Candidate for NY 27, stopped by after getting the Democratic endorsement in Erie County. He was amazed at the crowd. McMurray says he is preparing for an April 28th Special Election.

Democratic Chairman Micheal Plitt says people are fired up.

“People are ready for change in November, they are coming out in force, here in Genesee County we have a record number of volunteers.”

Here are a few brief thoughts from three candidates who are running for NYS Senate in District 61, the seat currently being held by Mike Ranzenhofer. The three candidates will face off in a June Primary Election.
