On April 3, 2020, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Brian J. Whitton, 60, of Warsaw, for DWI.
On April 3, 2020, Troopers out of SP Warsaw responded to a vehicle in a ditch on Stevens Road, town of Warsaw. Troopers located Whitton, who showed signs of intoxication and had been allegedly operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. Standard Field Sobriety Tests were administered on scene, which Whitton subsequently failed.
Whitton was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated and processed at SP Warsaw. A chemical breath test revealed him to have a 0.14% BAC.
Whitton was released and issued appearance tickets returnable to the town of Warsaw Court later in May.
