On October 22, 2020, SP Machias Troopers arrested Katrina L. Witt, 26, of Bliss, NY, , charging her with aggravated DWI and driving with a BAC over 0.18%.
During a check of a vehicle stopped along the shoulder of West Yorkshire Road in the town of Yorkshire, Witt, the operator, was allegedly exhibiting signs of intoxication.
Witt failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. She was arrested and transported to SP Machias, where a chemical breath test revealed that she had a 0.24% BAC.
Witt was released with appearance tickets and will appear in Yorkshire Town Court in November.
