Shawn PETERKIN M/43 was arrested on the aforementioned charges. It is alleged that PETERKIN threatened another person with a knife at a residence on W. Main St. and damaged property inside. PETERKIN then left the scene and was found in the backyard of a residence on Woodrow Rd, where he allegedly damaged a fence. PETERKIN was arrested and found to be in possession of a large amount of crack cocaine, fentanyl, prescription pills and marijuana. PETERKIN was arraigned by Judge Rogers and remanded to the Genesee County Jail without bail. PETERKIN is due back in Batavia City Court on 4/7/2021.

Criminal Contempt 1st Degree/Arrest Warrant, 12:00 AM, Monday, January 26, 2021, W Main St. – Robert GERETY JR. M/47, was arrested on the aforementioned charge. During an unrelated traffic stop, GERETY was found to have an active Batavia City Court Arrest Warrant. GERETY was subsequently arrested and arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge Rogers. GERETY was remanded to the Genesee County Jail and is scheduled to return on 4/1/2021.
