Arrests

Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, 12:01 AM, Wednesday, September 28, 2016, Vine Street – Wesley N. THIGPEN, M/40 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on two counts of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child following a sex abuse investigation conducted by Detective Ivison.

THIGPEN is accused of a continuous course of conduct where he sexually abused two children while they were under the age of thirteen. The abuse occurred at multiple locations in the City of Batavia between 2007 and 2016.

THIGPEN was arraigned in Batavia City Court and held with no set bail.  

Grand Larceny 4th; Burglary 2nd, 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 4, 2021, Pringle Ave. – Zachary S. NATALE, M/28 of Beacon, NY, was charged with Grand Larceny 4th Degree, and Burglary 2nd Degree, following an investigation into a burglary that occurred on Elm Street in May 2017.

NATALE, who is currently incarcerated in the Fishkill Correctional Facility on unrelated charges, was held without bail.

NATALE is scheduled to reappear in Batavia City Court on 10/19/2021 at 2:00PM.  

Harassment 2nd, 11:49 AM, Tuesday, July 6, 2021, E. Main St. – Joseph D. TURNER, M/39 of Albion, NY, was arrested on the above charge following the execution of an arrest warrant. TURNER was arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge Burns and was released on his own recognizance after an order of protection was issued. TURNER is scheduled to re-appear in Batavia City Court on 09/09/2021 at 1:30PM 

Petit Larceny; Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st, 10:00 PM, Sunday, July 11, 2021, W. Main St. – Eric P. DOLEMAN, M/51 or Pembroke, NY, was arrested on August 24, 2021 at 1:35PM after an investigation into the use of counterfeit money at a local business, where DOLEMAN allegedly knowingly used a counterfeit $100 bill.

DOLEMAN was arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge ROGERS and remanded to the GC Jail without bail. DOLEMAN is scheduled to re-appear in Batavia City Court at a later date.  

Criminal Contempt 2nd, 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 12, 2021, Main St. – Rhonda L. REISMAN, F/49 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above listed charge after she allegedly failed to comply with a court ordered mandate. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 8/24/2021 at 1:00PM.  

Criminal Obstruction of Breathing; Attempted Assault 3rd; Endangering the Welfare of a Child, 4:00 PM, Wednesday, August 18, 2021, Ellicott Pl. – On 08/18/2021, Brian P. GRIFFIN, M/36 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on charges of Attempted Assault 3rd, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing 2nd, and four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

GRIFFIN allegedly, got into a physical domestic with a juvenile on Ellicott Pl. Several other children were also in close proximity at the time of the incident. GRIFFIN was arraigned in Batavia City Court before judge ROGERS and held on $2,500 A, $5,000 B, and $10,000 E.

Griffin is due back in Batavia City Court on September 16, 2021 at 1:00PM.  

Harassment 2nd, 11:34 PM, Friday, August 20, 2021, W. Main St. – Alyssa J. MCKENZIE, F/23, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on August 23rd, 2021 for Harassment 2nd, following an investigation into an incident that occurred on August 20th, 2021, where MCKENZIE allegedly punched someone in the face.

MCKENZIE was issued an appearance ticket and is due to appear in Batavia City Court on August 31, 2021.  

Harassment 2nd, 11:00 PM, Tuesday, August 24, 2021, East Ave. – On 8/24/2021, Andre L. BRYAN, M/42, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charge. It’s alleged that BRYAN struck a Batavia Police Officer in the face during an incident on East Ave.

The Officer was not injured.

He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on September 7, 2021.  

Petit Larceny; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, 3:49 PM, Thursday, August 26, 2021, E. Main St. – On 8/26/2021, Michael J ROBBINS, M/61 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above listed charges. The arrest follows an investigation of a larceny on E. Main St. where ROBBINS was later located with the stolen property.

ROBBINS was released on an appearance ticket. ROBBINS is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on September 14, 2021.
