GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Motorcyclist charged in traffic stop in Pavilion

Daniel J. Eastridge, 26, of Woodstock Gardens Apartments, Batavia, is charged with DWI, previous conviction within 10 years, a class E felony, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, previous conviction within 10 years, a class E felony, speeding/exceeding 55mph, moving from a lane unsafely and driving to the left of pavement markings in a no passing zone, following a traffic stop on Telephone road in Pavilion on October 9, 2021 at 6:03pm.

Eastridge was allegedly operating a motorcycle while intoxicated.

He was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Pavilion Town Court on October 26, 2021 at 3:00p.m.

James L. Thomas Jr., 47, of Main Rd., Stafford, is charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent person/physically disabled person, after allegedly striking a mentally disabled minor multiple times, causing the minor to be in pain. The incident occurred in Stafford on October 9, 2021 at 8:16p.m.

Thomas was arraigned in Stafford Town Court and was released on his own recognizance. He will re-appear in court on December 9, 2021 at 6:00p.m.

Jayson L. Chamberlain, 37, of Pratt Rd., Batavia, is charged with burglary 3rd and petit larceny after allegedly knowingly and unlawfully entering a secure barn and stealing property from an address in Oakfield on October 6, 2021.

Chamberlain was arraigned in Oakfield Town Court by Judge Graham and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to re-appear in court on November 1, 2021 at 6:15p.m.

William A. Nicholas, 28, of Telegraph Rd., Medina, is charged with promoting prison contraband 2nd after an investigation at the Genesee County Jail at 14 West Main street on October 5, 2021.

Nicholas allegedly possessed contraband while incarcerated in the Genesee County Jail.

He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in City of Batavia Court on October 19, 2021 at 1:00p.m.
