GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/November 6, 2021

Quentin I. Bloom, 24, of N. Spruce St., Batavia, is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, unlawful imprisonment 2nd and false personation, after an investigation of a domestic incident in Bergen on November 3, 2021 at 1:35a.m.

Bloom allegedly was arguing with the victim and allegedly pushed the victim onto the ground and got on top of them. When the victim was yelling, Bloom allegedly put his hand over the victim’s nose and mouth, which obstructed the victim’s breathing.

The victim was able to free themselves and run towards the apartment door and open it, Bloom then allegedly pushed the door closed, preventing the victim from leaving the residence.

At that time, a deputy was on location and was able to push the door open and separate Bloom from the victim.

During the investigation, Bloom allegedly provided deputies with a fake name and date of birth in an attempt to prevent an arrest on active bench warrants.

Bloom was arrested and arraigned and was held on bail at the Genesee County Jail.

Edward J. Allen III, 32, of Farmington, NY, is charged with DWI and driving with a BAC of .08% or more, after a reported domestic incident in the Village of Bergen on November 6, 2021 at 2:22a.m.

Allen, a suspect in the incident, was located a short distance away and was charged after allegedly operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and released with appearance tickets to appear in Bergen Town Court on December 1, 2021 at 5:00p.m.

Allen III was also charged with grand larceny 4th, after he allegedly stole a debit card from another person on November 6, 2021 at a different address in Bergen. At 5:21a.m., he was arrested and released on an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in Bergen Town Court on December 1, 2021 at 5:00p.m.

James P. Lucki, 47, of Oakfield, is charged with DWI and driving with a BAC of .08% or more, following an ATV accident that occurred on June 17, 2020 in Oakfield. Lucki was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Oakfield Town Court on November 15, 2021 at 6:00p.m.
