On January 8, 2022, Troopers out of SP Clarence arrested Rachel A. Keene, 26, of Pembroke, NY, for Driving While Intoxicated.
Troopers responded to a motor vehicle accident at South Newstead Road, in the town of Newstead. During an interview with Keene, she was allegedly exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Keene had been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition.
Keene had failed standardized field sobriety tests.
She was arrested and processed at State Police in Newstead, where a chemical breath test revealed a 0.10% BAC. Keene was released with appearance tickets for the town of Newstead court, where she is due to appear at a later date.
