A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted Joshua D. Quaintance, accusing him of the crimes of burglary 2nd degree, a class C violent felony, and sexual abuse 3rd degree, a class B misdemeanor, after an incident in Alexander on July 11, 2021 where he knowingly entered and remained in a building with intent to commit a crime and then subjected another person to sexual contact without that person’s consent.

Cody A. Bush is facing a five-count indictment after an incident on Walnut street in the City of Batavia on October 11, 2021. Bush is accused of burglary 2nd degree, a class C violent felony, criminal contempt 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor for disobeying an order of protection, resisting arrest, a class A misdemeanor, and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor, after allegedly possessing controlled substances, clonazepam and alprazolam.

Brandon C. Dodd is facing a 10-count indictment after a string of alleged crimes in June of 2021. Dodd is accused of three counts of criminal contempt first degree, a class E felony, after violating orders of protection on June 29, 2021 in the City of Batavia. Also on June 29, 2021, Dodd is accused of burglary 2nd degree, a class C violent felony, after knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully at a building on Highland Park, to commit a crime therein.

One June 14, 2021, Dodd is accused of criminal trespass 3rd degree, a class B misdemeanor, after knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully on property that was fenced or enclosed on Highland Park. He is also accused of criminal contempt 2nd degree in this same incident, violating an order of protection.

On June 23, 2021, Dodd is accused of petit larceny, class A misdemeanor, after allegedly stealing property from a liquor store on Lewiston road. The same day he is also accused of burglary 2nd degree, a class C violent felony, after knowingly remaining unlawfully in a building on Highland Park with intent to commit a crime therein. At this same location he is accused of petit larceny for allegedly stealing a bicycle.

On June 28, 2021, Dodd is accused of petit larceny after allegedly stealing an air conditioner at a residence on Jackson street.

Dodd was previously convicted of the crime of criminal contempt 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor, on September 19, 2019 in the City of Batavia, and this conviction is within 5 years previous of the crime allegedly committed in the current indictment. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Rafael E. Colon, A/K/A Angel Colon, is facing a 7-count indictment after violating an order of protection in Genesee County in April of 2020, March of 2021, June of 2021(3 counts), total of 5 counts of criminal contempt 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor, and two counts of aggravated family offense, a class E felony, after allegedly committing the crime of criminal contempt 2nd degree against a person who is a member of the same family or household, in December of 2021.

Colon was previously convicted of the crime of criminal contempt 2nd degree in Batavia Town Court on October 20, 2020, the offenses were committed against members of the same family or household. This previous conviction took place within the five-year time frame.

Kerwin R. Vega has been indicted and is accused of aggravated DWI, a class E felony, DWI/as a class E felony, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 1st degree, a class E felony, circumvention of an interlock device, a class A misdemeanor, and endangering the welfare of a child, after operating a 2008 Toyota on Rt. 33 in Bergen, while allegedly in an intoxicated condition with a passenger 15 years of age or less in the vehicle on April 4, 2021.

Vega was previously convicted of DWI as a misdemeanor on April 9, 2015, in Rochester, NY, such conviction was within 10 years of the alleged crime committed in count 2/DWI of the current indictment.

Christopher J. Wiegman has been indicted and is accused of the crime of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree (3 counts), for knowingly and unlawfully possessing cocaine/ 500mg or more, fentanyl, amphetamine and dextroamphetamine, in the City of Batavia on April 14, 2021.
