GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia man already facing indictment for a string of crimes last June, facing new charges this June

Brandon Dodd, 35, of Batavia, NY, is charged with falsifying business records 1st degree, a class E felony, criminal possession of stolen property 5th degree and petit larceny, after a larceny complaint on June 13 ,2022 by Kohl’s Department store.

On June 10, 2022, Dodd allegedly stole property from Kohl’s and then sold the merchandise to Pawn King pawn shop just up the road on Veteran’s Memorial Drive. Dodd allegedly falsified a bill of sale attesting to being the owner of the stolen merchandise.

Dodd was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Batavia Court on August 3, 2022, at 10:00a.m.

The case was investigated by Investigator Erik Andre with assistance from Deputy Nicholas Chamoun.

Cordero L. Royes, 35, of Batavia, NY, is charged with DWI and other traffic offenses after Royes was allegedly traveling east on Rt. 33 through Corfu and Pembroke at speeds in excess of 120mph on July 5, 2022 at 9:58p.m.

Royes was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Pembroke Town Court on July 21, 2022, at 1:00p.m.
