GENESEE COUNTY/Senior Corrections Officer accused of stealing $50,000 from GCS Employee Assoc.

Genesee County Sheriff William A. Sheron, Jr. reports the arrest of Genesee County
Sheriff’s Office Senior Correction Officer Kevin D. Wolff, age 51, of Stafford New York,
for Grand Larceny in the Second Degree, a class C Felony.
It is alleged that Wolff stole in excess of $50,000.00 from the Genesee County Sheriff’s
Employee Association’s financial accounts during his three-year tenure as President of the
Association. The Genesee County Sheriff’s Employee Association members consist of
Correction Officers, Emergency Service Dispatchers, Dog Control Officers and Jail
Cooks.

Wolff was arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge Burns and released on his own
recognizance. Wolff, a 20 ½-year employee of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, has
been terminated from his employment. The investigation into the Grand Larceny is
ongoing by members of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation
Division.
