GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Rochester man charged after motor vehicle pursuit

Anthony L. Liberi, 50, of Rochester, NY, is charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle 3rd degree, reckless endangerment 2nd, obstructing governmental administration 2nd degree, reckless driving and failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle along with other traffic offenses, following a motor vehicle pursuit on Buffalo road in Bergen on August 27, 2022 at 12:33a.m.

Liberi allegedly fled from deputies who were attempting to conduct a traffic stop. Deputies continued to pursue Liberi with the assistance of the Gates Police Department as the pursuit entered Monroe County. The pursuit ended when Liberi struck a median and his vehicle became disabled.

Liberi was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Bergen Town Court on September 21, 2022, at 3:00p.m.

Thea M. Irons, 29, of Batavia, NY, is charged with petit larceny after deputies responded to Walmart, 4133 Veteran’s Memorial drive, for a larceny complaint on August 29, 2022, at 5:02p.m.

Irons allegedly stole merchandise from the store and passed all points of sale.

Irons will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on September 27, 2022, at 10:00a.m. in front of Judge Young.
