GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Inmate at jail uses another inmate’s ID to make phone calls

Benito A. Gay, 34, of Batavia, NY, is charged with petit larceny, falsifying business records 2nd degree, criminal use of an access device 2nd degree, and unlawful possession of personal identification information 3rd degree, after allegedly using another inmate’s personal identification number to make phone calls at the Genesee County Jail, at 14 West Main street, on December 5, 2022, at 1:05a.m.

The calls were charged to the victim’s account.

Gay is due to appear in City Court for arraignment on January 3, 2023, at 1:00p.m.

Michael D. McCracken, 42, of Rochester, NY, is charged with felony DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation 1st degree, and failure to signal, following a traffic stop on Rt. 20 in Pavilion on December 10, 2022 at 1:26a.m.

McCracken was allegedly operating a motor vehicle while allegedly intoxicated by alcohol.

He was issued traffic tickets and will appear in Pavilion Town Court on December 20, 2022, at 3:00p.m.

Willie A. Sabb Jr., 48, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, after he was allegedly found to be in possession of cocaine during a traffic stop on Clinton Street Road in Stafford on December 9, 2022 at 8:26p.m.

Sabb was issued appearance tickets returnable to Stafford Town Court on January 12, 2023 at 6:00p.m.

Andrew A. Crimes, 50, of Batavia, NY, is charged with two counts of criminal contempt 1st degree, after entering 8315 Park Road, Batavia Downs, at 10:49p.m. on December 7, 2022.

Crimes allegedly violated an order of protection by entering Batavia Downs and then also sent 111 text messages to a subject of the order of protection. The texts were allegedly sent between January 24, 2022 and November 16, 2022, violating an order of protection that was in place.

Crimes was arraigned in Batavia Town Court and is set to return to court on December 20, 2022 at 1:00p.m.

Parker R. Davis, 29, of LeRoy, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, after being found to be in possession of a controlled substance during a probation home visit on December 8, 2022.

Davis was transported to the jail for processing and then released on an appearance ticket.

Davis will return to LeRoy Town Court on December, 22, 2022.
