Assistant District Attorney John Sansone, who is new to the case as of November 2025, agreed to dismiss the criminal contempt 1st degree/with a weapon charge, an E felony from a July 30, 2025 incident, (Batavia Police Blotter/August 11, 2025 â Video News Service) where Turner allegedly almost struck another person with her car and yelled at the victim in violation of an order of protection.

After sentencing, Turner’s attorney asked to change the level of the stay away order of protection, she told the court its being used more as a sword rather than a shield.
