A protest and a vigil were held at the Buffalo Detention Center on Federal Drive and Rt. 98 on Sunday afternoon. Members of the GLOW Community Alliance gathered at Rt. 98 and Federal Drive to protest Ice, Customs and Border Protection and other federal agencies.
Following the protest, attendees joined Rev. Leah Ntuala, of Seneca Falls, in front of the Detention Center as she read the 39 names of those who have been lost to violence. Participants remained still for 39 minutes, 1 minute for each person.

The vigil was part of a nationwide gathering to mourn those who have died and unite in an act of resistance and courage against the normalization of the actions and inactions of federal agencies like ICE, Customs and Border Protection and the federal government.

What about those killed by illegals. Let’s not for get about them. ICE is doing their job I do not believe that any of the ICE officers have set out to kill anyone. Unfortunately because of situations beyond there control they have had to defend themselves. Let’s not forget there are ways to become citizens legally.
