The event was sponsored by the Friends of Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and offered community members the opportunity to observe wildlife, participate in crafts and educational activities and speak with various community organizations who are dedicated to conservation, the arts and cultural enrichment.
The event has been held for about 35 years at the Casey Road Visitor Center.
