Sex Abuse 1st Degree: w/ Child less than 11 years old, 12:01 AM, Tuesday, April 17, 2018, Ellicott St. – Ronald M. WASHBURN, M/62 of Vine St. was arrested by Detective Ivision following a sex abuse investigation stemming back to April 2018. WASHBURN is accused of touching the sexual or intimate parts of a six-year-old child for the purpose of gratifying his sexual desire. WASHBURN was the child’s babysitter at the time. WASHBURN was also a registered as a level 1 sex offender at the time of the offense, however his registration status has since expired.  This investigation had been ongoing for more than four years. Assisting in the investigation, Detective Mart, Child Protective Services, and the Justice for Children Advocacy Center. WASHBURN is currently being held in the Genesee County Jail on $5k Cash, $10k bond, and $20k partially secured. WASHBURN is scheduled to reappear in court on 8/3/2022 at 1:00 PM.  

Public Lewdness, 6:39 PM, Saturday, July 23, 2022, Walnut St. – On 7/23/2022, Officer POST arrested Christine WYDER and Kevin WEBER for public lewdness after they were observed allegedly having intercourse in the front yard of a residence. WYDER and WEBER were both issued appearance tickets and released with a return court date of 8/2/2022 at 1:00 PM.  

Abandonment of an Animal; Torturing or injuring an Animal, 3:30 AM, Friday, March 11, 2022, Highland Park – Linda L. SNYDER, F/39, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above listed charges after she allegedly struck a dog with a broom numerous times and abandoned the animal outside. SNYDER was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in Batavia City Court on July 19, 2022, at 1:00 PM.  

Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in Motor Vehicle 3rd; Failed to stop at a stop sign; Illegal signal: less than 100’; Speed violation: speed in zone; Failure to obey traffic control device, 9:20 AM, Saturday, July 16, 2022, S. Main St. – Ashley I. HIGHTOWER, F/29 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charges. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle that HIGHTOWER was operating after observing several traffic infractions. Upon activating the lights and siren, HIGHTOWER began to accelerate her vehicle and refused to pull over. HIGHTOWER continued to flee from officers from W. Main Street. to E. Main Street before she finally pulled over at the Eastown Plaza. HIGHTOWER was then taken into custody and issued multiple traffic citations and an appearance ticket. HIGHTOWER is due to appear in Batavia City Court on 8/3/2022 at 9:00 AM.  

Attempted Assault 2nd; Reckless Endangerment 2nd; Leaving the Scene of a personal injury accident, 12:00 PM, Monday, July 4, 2022, Liberty St. – Taiya J. ROLLE, F/18 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on 7/12/2022 for attempted assault 2nd, reckless endangerment 2nd, and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident following a domestic incident on 7/4/2022. ROLLE was arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge Rogers and was released on her own recognizance. ROLLE is due back in Batavia City Court on 8/16/2022 at 2:00 PM.  

Petit Larceny; Criminal Contempt 1st; Burglary 2nd; Identity Theft 3rd; Grand Larceny 4th, 2:33 PM, Sunday, July 10, 2022, State St. – On 7/10/2022, John J. SADDLER, M/34, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charges after he allegedly stole property from a residence and violated an order of protection. SADDLER was arraigned in front of Judge ROGERS of Batavia City Court who remanded SADDLER to the Genesee County Jail on no bail. SADDLER returned to Batavia City Court on 7/13/2022 at 1:00 PM.  

Criminal Contempt 2nd; Stalking in the 3rd Degree, 9:00 PM, Sunday, July 17, 2022, Vernon Ave. – Sidney C. UNDERHILL, M/72, of Elba, NY, was arrested on 7/26/2022 for Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree and Stalking 3rd Degree. It is alleged that UNDERHILL violated a full stay away order of protection on 7/17/2022. UNDERHILL was arraigned in Batavia City Court on 7/26/2022 by Judge BURNS. UNDERHILL was held on $5,000 cash, $10,000 insurance bond, and $20,000 partially secured. UNDERHILL reappeared in Batavia City Court on 7/28/2022 at 1:30 PM.  

Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree, 11:30 AM, Saturday, June 25, 2022, Vernon Ave. – Sidney C. UNDERHILL, M/72, of Elba, NY, was arrested on 7/26/2022 for criminal contempt in the second degree. It is alleged that UNDERHILL violated a full stay away order of protection on 6/25/2022. UNDERHILL was arraigned in Batavia City Court on 7/26/2022 by Judge BURNS. UNDERHILL was held on $5,000 cash, $10,000 insurance bond, and $20,000 partially secured. UNDERHILL reappeared in Batavia City Court on 7/28/2022 at 1:30 PM.  

Trespass, 11:00 PM, Friday, August 6, 2021, Vernon Ave. – Sidney C. UNDERHILL, M/72, of Elba, NY was arrested for trespass on 7/26/2022 stemming from an incident on 8/6/2021. UNDERHILL was arraigned in Batavia City Court on 7/26/2022 at 10:00 AM. UNDERHILL was held on $50.00 nominal bail.  

Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th; Unlawful Possession of Personal ID 3rd; Petit Larceny, 8:26 PM, Saturday, June 4, 2022, E. Main St. – Jacob J. CAMERERA, M/31, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charges. Police were investigating a fraud case where the victim’s credit cards were stolen and were attempted to be used by an unknown person. After an investigation was conducted, CAMERERA was arrested and issued an appearance ticket. CAMERERA appeared in Batavia City Court on 7/19/2022 at 1:30 PM.  

Assault 3rd; Criminal Mischief, 8:58 PM, Friday, July 22, 2022, E. Main St. – On 7/23/2022, Adriana M. AYALA, F/18 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charges. It’s alleged that AYALA struck another person in the face during a fight at a gas station on East Main Street. AYALA was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 8/2/2022.  

Burglary 3rd; Petit Larceny, 2:01 PM, Saturday, July 23, 2022, E. Main St. – On 7/23/2022, Matthew R. TAYLOR, M/39, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charges. It’s alleged that he stole merchandise from a gas station on E. Main Street after having been previously trespassed from the property. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. He is due back in court on 8/18/2022.  

Trespass, 2:10 PM, Saturday, July 23, 2022, E. Main St. – Matthew R. TAYLOR, M/39 of Batavia, NY, was arrested for the above listed charge after he was found on a property he had previously been banned from. TAYLOR was arraigned at Batavia City Court with Judge BURNS presiding on 7/24/2022. TAYLOR was released on his own recognizance. TAYLOR is scheduled to return to Batavia City Court on 8/18/2022 at 1:30 PM.  

Trespass, 8:59 PM, Sunday, July 24, 2022, E. Main St. – On 7/24/2022, Mattew R. TAYLOR, M/39, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charge. It’s alleged that he was found on the property of a business on E. Main Street that he had previously been trespassed from. TAYLOR was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $100 cash bail. He appeared in court on 7/26/2022.  

Failure to appear, 1:00 PM, Tuesday, July 19, 2022, W. Main St. – On 7/24/2022, Alicia M. LYONS, F/42, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a warrant for the above listed charge. LYONS allegedly failed to appear in Batavia City Court after she was arrested for trespassing. LYONS was arraigned in before Judge BURNS and released to reappear on 7/28/2022 at 1:30PM.    

Trespass, 11:55 AM, Sunday, July 24, 2022, Jackson St. – On 7/24/2022, Officer POST arrested Alicia M. LYONS, F/42 of Batavia, NY, for trespassing after she allegedly entered a local business which she has been trespassed from. LYONS was arraigned at Batavia City Court where she was released on her own recognizance. LYONS appeared in Batavia City Court on 7/28/2022 at 1:30 PM.  

Trespass, 3:54 PM, Friday, July 15, 2022, Jackson St. – Alicia M. LYONS, F/42 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on 7/18/2022 at 2:09 PM for trespassing. It is alleged that LYONS went into a convenience store on 7/15/2022 after being trespassed from this store in the past.  It is alleged LYONS bought a pack of black and mild cigars and left. LYONS was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court on 8/2/2022 at 1:00 PM.  

Trespass, 6:38 PM, Monday, July 18, 2022, Jackson St. – On 7/18/2022, Alicia M. LYONS, F/42, of Batavia, NY, was arrested for trespass after she allegedly entered a business that she was previously barred from shopping at. LYONS was issued an appearance ticket with a return court date of 7/26/2022 at 1:00 PM.  

Petit Larceny, 4:17 PM, Sunday, July 24, 2022, Jackson St. – On 7/24/2022, Nathan W. CAMPBELL, M/41 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above listed charge. CAMPBELL allegedly stole a beer from a business in the City. CAMPBELL was processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable to BCC on 8/9/2022 at 1:00 PM.  

Endangering the Welfare of a Child, 2:20 PM, Wednesday, July 20, 2022, Bank St. – Christine M. PAGE, F/32, of East Rochester, NY, was arrested on the above listed charge after it was alleged that, while she was babysitting a child less than 17, that child gained access to and consumed a THC candy bar causing an adverse reaction. PAGE was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on August 9th, 2022, at 1:00 PM.  

Inhalation of Toxic Vapors or Fumes, 5:38 PM, Thursday, July 21, 2022, W. Main St. Rd. – Jacqueline R. GARRETT, F/43 of Albion, NY, was arrested on July 21st after an incident on W. Main St. in the City of Batavia where GARRETT was allegedly under the influence after inhaling toxic vapors. GARRETT also had a warrant out of Batavia City Court for an incident in 2020, after she failed to appear on an appearance ticket. GARRETT was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. GARRETT is scheduled to reappear on August 4th, 2022.  

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th; DWAI Drugs: Second Offense; Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle; AUO 1st; Turn Signal used less than 100’ before turn, 4:28 PM, Sunday, April 24, 2022, Ross St. – On 7/14/2022, Cindy L. BUSH, F/60 of Batavia, NY, was arrested for an incident that took place on 4/24/2022. After an investigation into a traffic stop, it is alleged that BUSH was operating a motor vehicle while being impaired by crack-cocaine. BUSH was operating with a revoked driver’s license due to a prior conviction of operating a motor vehicle with being impaired by drugs in 2015. Officers found several glass pipes and clear plastic bags with drug residue inside of them. BUSH was issued an appearance ticket to appear in City Court on a later date.  

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th; DWAI Drugs; Insufficient tail lamps, 10:41 PM, Tuesday, April 26, 2022, E. Main St. – On 7/14/2022, Brandon C. DODD, M/35 of Batavia, NY, was arrested for an incident that took place on 4/26/2022. DODD was arrested after an investigation into a traffic stop where it is alleged that DODD was impaired by drugs while operating a motor vehicle. DODD was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets and an appearance ticket to appear in City Court at a later date.  

Criminal Contempt 2nd, 1:40 PM, Monday, July 25, 2022, Batavia City Centre. – On 7/25/2022, Michael R. OSTRANDER, M/57 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charge. It’s alleged that he violated an order of protection by communicating with the protected party by phone. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 8/2/2022.  

Trespass, 6:02 PM, Saturday, July 16, 2022, E. Main St. – On 7/16/2022, Matthew R. TAYLOR, M/39 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above listed charge. TAYLOR allegedly went to an establishment which he had previously been advised that he was no longer welcome. TAYLOR was processed, issued an appearance ticket, and released with a return date of 8/2/2022 at 1:00 PM.  

Harassment 2nd, 7:57 PM, Sunday, July 17, 2022, W. Main St. – On 7/17/2022, Jason E. CARPENTER, M/43, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on the above charge. It’s alleged that CARPENTER threatened another person during an altercation at a house on W. Main Street. CARPENTER was issued an appearance ticket and appear in Batavia City Court on 7/26/2022.  

Aggravated DWI; DWI; Operate without Ignition interlock device; Improper left turn, 12:28 AM, Sunday, July 10, 2022, Clinton St. – Tracy M. FICKES, F/41, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on 7/10/2022 for the listed charges following a one car motor vehicle accident where the vehicle struck a utility pole. FICKES was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets returnable to Batavia City Court on 7/20/2022 at 9:00 AM and released.  

Failure to appear after appearance ticket issued, 4:27 PM, Friday, May 13, 2022, Ellsworth Ave. – On 7/7/2022, Megan A. GREGG, F/28 of Batavia, NY was arrested on a warrant, out of Batavia City Court. It’s alleged that GREGG left drugs and drug paraphernalia out in an area that was accessible to a young child. GREGG was arraigned and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. She appeared in court on 7/21/2022.   

Harassment 2nd, 2:26 AM, Monday, July 11, 2022, Walnut St. – George J. BUDZINACK JR., M/42 of Batavia, NY, was arrested by Officer Freeman after allegedly punching through a door and hitting a female in the face. BUDZINACK was arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge ROGERS for an order of protection and was released on recognizance.  

Trespassing, 11:12 PM, Friday, July 8, 2022, E. Main St. – Latoya D. JACKSON, F/36, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on July 8, 2022, for trespassing. While at a location on E. Main Street, JACKSON was advised by management to leave the property, which she reluctantly did. After a short time, JACKSON returned to the property while officers were still on scene and was subsequently arrested. JACKSON was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court at a later date.  

Aggravated Harassment, 5:46 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2022, Ellicott St. – On 7/6/2022, Roger M. HOFMEIER, M/21, of Batavia, NY, was arrested for aggravated harassment in the 2nd degree after an alleged disagreement with another person. HOFMEIER was issued an appearance ticket and released with a return court date of 7/12/2022 at 1:00 PM to Batavia City Court.  

Criminal Trespass 3rd, 4:18 PM, Tuesday, July 19, 2022, Cone St. – On 7/19/2022, Daniel H. MOONEY, M/35, of Batavia, NY, was arrested for criminal trespass 3rd degree after he allegedly entered and remained unlawfully on property where he was not permitted. MOONEY was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 7/26/2022 at 1:00 PM.  

Dog Running at Large, 4:24 PM, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, Law St. – Christian P. PIERRE-LOUIS, M/24, of Batavia, NY, was arrested for a dog running at large on July 26, 2022, after an incident where his dog went to another property and became aggressive with another dog. PIERRE-LOUIS was issued an appearance ticket for dog running at large and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court at a later date.
