GENESEE COUNTY/Man indicted after incident with delivery driver

A Genesee County grand Jury has indicted Jeffrey D. Hall, 38, of Batavia, accusing him of the crime of sexual abuse first degree, a class D violent felony, after allegedly subjecting another person to sexual contact by forcible compulsion on May 24, 2022, in the City of Batavia, NY.

Ledeja K. Wright has been indicted by a Grand Jury and is accused the crime of burglary second degree, a class C violent felony, after knowingly entering or remaining in a dwelling in the City of Batavia with intent to commit a crime on June 15, 2022.

In count 2, Wright is accused of criminal mischief third degree, a class E felony, after allegedly damaging the property of another person in the amount exceeding $250, a television and stereo.

In count 3, Wright is accused of criminal tampering third degree, a class B misdemeanor, after allegedly tampering with the property of another person with intent to cause a substantial inconvenience.

John C. Hoogasian has been indicted by a Grand Jury and is accused of the crime of grand larceny third degree, a class D felony, after allegedly stealing property having a value in excess of $3,000, a 2018 Chevy Silverado pick-up truck, on September 29, 2021, while at an address in the town of Elba, NY.

In a separate indictment, Hoogasian is accused of the crime of bail jumping second degree, a class E felony, after not appearing personally on the required date in Oakfield Town Court after being released from custody on his own recognizance on November 17, 2021.

A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted John J. Saddler Jr., accusing him of the crime of aggravated family offense, a class E felony, the specified offense was against a person who was a member of the same family or household in the City of Batavia. Saddler Jr. allegedly intentionally disobeyed a court order of protection that was issued on June 24, 2022, by Family Court.

In count 2, Saddler is further accused of criminal contempt second degree, a class A misdemeanor, on July 10, 2022, after allegedly intentionally disobeying an order of protection by intentionally calling the protected party.

According to District Attorney Kevin T. Finnell, Saddler Jr. was convicted of the crime of criminal contempt first degree on August 26, 2020, and this previous conviction took place within the past five years.

Arthur J. Brown has been indicted and is accused of the crime of failure to register a change of address as a sex offender, a class E felony, after allegedly failing to register a change of address with the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services within 10 days, on or about April 27, 2022, in the Town of Batavia.

Todd A. Kendall has been indicted and is accused of the crime of failure to verify as a sex offender, a class E felony, after allegedly failing to provide a current photograph of himself within the time period provided by law, as Kendall is a convicted sex offender. The incident occurred on May 20, 2022, in the town of Batavia.

Jamie M. Cyr has been indicted and is accused of the crime of promoting prison contraband first degree, a class D felony, after allegedly knowingly and unlawfully possessing dangerous contraband, suboxone, while at the Genesee County Jail at 14 West Main street in the City of Batavia on April 16, 2022.

Joseph D. Krug has been indicted and is accused of the crime of grand larceny fourth degree, a class E felony, after Krug allegedly stole property having a value exceeding $1,000 on February 16, 2022 in the town of Batavia.
